Fly with Jet Airways from Heathrow Airport to a film location

Jet Airways, which flies from Heathrow Airport to Chandigarh, via Delhi, was the airline chosen by the cast and crew of the major film.

Those involved in West is West, the sequel to the hit film East is East, applied the carrier to transport them to filming in India.

"The sort of comfort and attentiveness which my team and I enjoyed on a numerous Jet flights during our months of film production in India, created flying an easy, content and seamless transition from a single city towards the next," Leslee Udwin, the film's producer, said.

Much of the movie, that may be really set in Pakistan, was filmed inside Himalayan foothills in India. Ms Udwin described the "pure magic" that occurs during the nation and also the "beauty" of the area.

Jet Airways flight to Chandigarh can be booked from £642 per person inclusive of taxes and flights can also be caught from Birmingham Airport and Manchester Airport via Brussels. The airline flies from Heathrow Airport to a number of destinations across India, including Mumbai and Kolkata.
